hot, Hot, HOT!!!!!!

We’re on the train to San Antonio right now about two hours away. We have been traveling on the train since about 1:00 p.m. yesterday. We all had a good night’s sleep and had oatmeal for breakfast. So far this has been my  favorite train ride yet. Today I saw 3 cardinals, a few cranes, LOTS of cows and cornfields (one cow was loose from its pasture and in a cornfield), and mom, Sam and I just saw 2 deer.

Rylee.

Now it’s Tuesday morning in San Antonio. We’ll meet up with my friend, Mark, for breakfast. Then he will show us around.

  1. Hi All. That was a long train ride from Chicago to San Antonio. Today was 60 degrees and sunny. We ate lunch outside it was so nice. Did you know that San Antonio is the most visited city in Texas. The top sights include the Alamo, the historic missions, the River Walk and SeaWorld. I will check in tomorrow and see what did in hot, hot, hot San Antonio. Have fun. Dan & Nancy

  2. Okay guys, Paul couldn't believe it when he saw you were at Wrigley Field for Father's Day. He looked at the picture and said, "Is that Wrigley Field?" Sounds like a fun day!

Paul was caught in a storm looking for shelter in P.W.S. on Father's Day. However, he is now home safely. WHEW!!!

Thanks for the update Rylee. I feel like we're playing, Where in the U.S. is the Norris Family? It's been great to hear about and "see" your trip.
